Chairman

Khun Narong founded Montara Hospitality Group over a decade ago, developing Trisara, Phuket, as the Group’s first project. Trisara is known worldwide as one of the most luxurious resort destinations, having won many awards and accolades-among others. In 2017, the Group acquired Praya Palazzo, Bangkok’s only river mansion boutique hotel, and latest property, the innovative movie house-turn-hotel PRINCE THEATRE HERITAGE STAY in Bangrak.

He started his business career as a financier, first with Citibank in Bangkok and in Chicago, and after 10 years left the bank to start up a finance and securities company which he took public four years later. He was appointed an advisor to the Senate Committee on Finance, Banking and Financial Institutions, and granted the Fifth Class Member of the most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand.

His family-funded charity organization, Niyom Pattamaseavi Foundation, run a community library and an art center in Northern Thailand and provided university scholarships to needy students. The library rotates books to 21 primary schools outside Lampang provincial town benefiting over 1,200 students.

In honor of the more than 20 years of philanthropic works, he was granted a Royal Decoration, The Most Admirable Order of Direkgunakorn, and awarded “Value of the Land : Pride and Dignity of Thais” by the office of the Prime Minister. He was also conferred a medal of honor by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.


POONSRI PICHAYAPHANICH

Vice Chairperson

Khun Poonsri has joined Montara Hospitality since its inception. A first-class honor graduate from Thammasat University’s Economics Faculty, and from Claremont Graduate University’s MBA program in California, she started her career with the Inchcape Thailand Group. Very proud of the success in her career with the British company when she was appointed the Group’s first Thai female Group IT Director. As the Group IT Director, she looked after its IT department country-wide, and also managed the Office Automation business of the group as its Managing Director, representing IPM, HP, Computer Associate and Rico in Thailand. It was the business that she herself initiated for the Group.

Khun Poonsri currently, overseeing all three properties of Montara Hospitality Group as a Vice Chairperson and also look after the Niyom Pattamaseavi Foundation.


WILLIAM D. BLACK

Executive Director

Bill Black has over 30 years of experience in every facet of hotel management and development across the Asia-Pacific hospitality industry. Having worked for regent Hotels, Four Seasons Hotels, independent luxury properties and managed his own boutique hotel group, Bill most recently retired as President of Silver Needle Hospitality in Singapore.

An innovative hotelier, Bill has opened and/or managed over 16 properties in the region. His comprehensive experience in Asia and especially in South East Asia allows him to break conventional hospitality modes to set new benchmarks for Asian design, facilities, service and profitability. With a reputation as a hotel manager’s, Bill is passionate and sensitive to local culture and traditions.

Bill has been a Board member of Montara Hospitality for 14 years and is currently acting as its Executive Director.


MORRIS SIM

Executive Director

Morris Sim is CEO and Co-Founder of Circos Brand Karma, the leading full-service solution provider that protects the value and cultivates the potential of brands. Hoteliers around the world use the Brand Karma Analytic tool to improve brand favorability, increase awareness, and operationally raise guest satisfaction and loyalty. Circos’s consultancy services help hoteliers sell more rooms and F&B covers directly, and its training services help hoteliers learn how to utilize digital marketing to maximize their revenue. Clients include Shangri-La, Starwood, Marriott, Ritz-Carlton, Mandarin Oriental, Jin Jiang, Hyatt, IHG, and Accor.

 

Passionate about technology and marketing, Morris has been identifying and applying innovative trends to improve business performance for the last 20 years. As a Senior Director of Marketing at Marriott, Morris developed communities and social network from 2002-2005 to improve Microsoft’s brand perceptions and market share worldwide. Prior to that, he served as the Chief Technology Officer of PoloRalphLauren.com, the first e-commerce site from a major design/retail shop, now a thriving and profitable business with millions of customers per year. In addition to running his company, Morris also serves as the Executive Director for Trisara.

Morris is a graduate of Stanford University.


Arpaluck Ekpanish

Executive Advisor/Consultant

Arpaluck has over 25-year experiences as Corporate HR Leader and a trusted Executive Business Partner for Major Global Companies and being an Executive Advisor for Top Management of major Thai Organizations particularly in the area of Business and Human Resources Development and Transformation.

Her latest Corporate position was Human Resources Director at Microsoft (Thailand) Co., Ltd. where she was overseeing all Human Resources Aspects. Before she took this position, she was Country HR Leader for Motorola Thailand and Vietnam who was taking care the whole Human Resources functions for all Business Units of these countries.

After spending her Corporate life for over 2 decades, she shifted her career to be an Executive Advisor/Consultant to Top Management of various organizations helping them to transform and drive growth of business and people.

Apart from the above, she is also being an Executive Board of Director for Montara Hospitality Group and being an Executive Coach for CEOs and GMs of both Global and Local Thai Organizations.


KITTISAK PATTAMASAEVI

Chief Executive Officer

Kittisak (Kitt) Pattamasaevi is the Chief Executive Officer for Montara Hospitality Group. Montara owns and manages Phuket’s most exclusive pool villa beach resort TRISARA, Bangkok’s only river mansion boutique hotel PRAYA PALAZZO, and the innovative movie house-turn-hotel PRINCE THEATRE HERITAGE STAY in Bangrak.

In his previous role at Montara, Kitt leveraged his private equity and investment banking experience to facilitate the acquisition of boathouse, a critically acclaimed Phuket beach resort and restaurant, which Montara also currently owns and manages.

Kitt received his MBA from Harvard Business School. At HBS, he served as COO for Hospitality & Travel Industry Club. Prior to that, he graduated Cum Laude from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research. Outside of his work at Montara, Kitt serves as a director of Niyom Pattamasaevi Foundation, which sponsors scholarships and supports rural elementary schools in Northern Thailand.

ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES

Panjama has over 15 years of experiences in Sales and Marketing in luxury hospitality industry. Panjama runs the strong sales & marketing team leading toward the the success of the properties under Montara Hospitality group for several years. Panjama strongly deliver the continuous success to Trisara, Praya Palazzo and Prince Theatre Heritage Stay.

Panjama earned the Master degree in The Master of Economics Marketing from The University of Sydney and The Master of Arts (Mass Communication and Journalism), second honor from Chulalongkorn University, and earned the Certificate of Advanced Revenue Management from Cornell University.


Sathita Phatrapunpong

Treasury & Corporate Registrar

Sathita is the expert in Treasury & Corporate Registration field, with the success behind Trisara, Prince Theatre Heritage Stay and Praya Palazzo. She dedicated her skill and knowledge to glide the paths for Montara Hospitality Group in the leasing and financial support.

Sathita graduated in MBA (Finance) from National Institute of Development Administration and received a bachelor in B.S. Agricultural Economics from Kasetsart University.


PORNSITH DECHARKOM

GROUP FINANCE DIRECTOR

Pornsith graduated from Assumption University and is a holder of a Certified Public Accountant of Thailand license since 1997. He is now entitled Group Finance Director of Montara Hospitality Group overseeing whole accounting, finance and taxation functions for all related companies. He joined Montara Hospitality Group in 2003 as an accounting manager, overseeing all finance and accounting taxation aspects.

Before joining Montara, he was an Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, leading teams of high caliber professional business advisory services, performing the examination of the financial statements and prepare audit opinion with various clients in many fields including multi-national manufacturing, construction, services, hotel, and trading companies.
